An adaptive restoration of a history rich train station in the heart of Orange, Texas. The 1910 Southern Pacific railroad depot, the gateway to the Orange historic district is transformed to a museum and a leasable space. The preservation effort for the depot is to capture a time in the past while making it utilizable as a museum, gift shop and special events space. Promoting community involvement and tourism was definitely achieved with the restoration and bustling activity within and about the depot.
