In 2002, Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas, formerly Memorial Hermann Baptist Hospital, hired AAI to assist in implementing a building program with a goal to both improve their Emergency Department Services, and put forth a new image for the local Orange community Hospital. After extensive studying and planning, it was determined that the Emergency Department should be relocated from the rear of the Hospital to the front, creating a new face for the aging facility. Once completed, the addition provided an Ambulance Entrance, Trauma Room, Decontamination Shower, Isolation Room, and 10 private treatment rooms, strategically located in immediate proximity to the Radiology Department. Through careful planning, the Hospital remained in full operation throughout the construction.
